" Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary "

All Art is personal! It comes from who you have known and know, what you have done and are doing and where you have been and are! I have always loved art, whether it be a children’s book, an oil painting, exploring galleries and museums, or capturing that special moment on a camera.

I have always taken photos but only started holding onto them some years ago. My background is quite unorthodox, but I have always been involved in various fields that deal with the arts. I studied Mass Communications at the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin but my first job out of University was with one of the top commercial printing companies in the world, where I learned everything about colour and the printing process. I worked on feature films, produced for US television, and taught pre-school children art. But when I picked up a camera again and started taking photos daily, I was finally drawn back into practicing art.

I submitted my first photo to a curated gallery show on a lark, and the rest is history. Since then, I have been in over 40 shows in the States and abroad.

I love capturing an image in the moment, to relive and share it untouched. Nature is my main canvas, but I shoot the unusual as well. I am always seeking to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary.
