The hike up the Crags takes you high above the town of Callander with incredible views. I had heard about a famous old tree that was called ‘The Witch’s Tree’ up at the Crags. I came upon this, and it had to be! (Crags, Callander, Scotland)

Standing Tall Among Trees

I am not a Photographer that waits and sets up. I am on the move…constantly. However, I truly feel I am gifted incredible moments. This photo was one of them. It was almost 10PM and I was coming down from the Crags, a high point in Callander, Scotland. I literally turned a corner in the forest - everything shimmered in a golden light. Just…breathtaking. Middle Forrest

When we first moved to this picturesque town, I was finding my way home one evening. The sun was starting to set behind me and everything looked like cotton-candy colours with the oranges and lime greens. I was in a meadow and came upon a board that was used to cross a very small burn. I felt like a kid and literally held my breath as I slowly walked across the board. Yes ~ I made it! (The Meadows, Callander, Scotland)

Stepping Lightly in Callander

I was walking in the forests on the Falkland Estate in Scotland. I got quite lost, but kept on walking up a path. There was a parting of the trees, and I decided to walk through. It was thick with very high trees, but there was a splinter of light in the middle coming down. The silence was deafening, stopped me in my tracks. I felt like I was surrounded by others from centuries ago. It was a crazy yet very calming feeling. (Falkland, Scotland)
